"Root, root, root for the home team, if they don't win it's a shame..." Along with our 3 year tradition of taking little man to a Yankee game in May, comes the 3 year tradition that they lose the game. Wah wah. I know, I know. We live in Queens but we're yankee fans? Guilty. I'm originally from The Bronx, with a migration to Westchester County and my husband is a Staten Island native with a migration to Brooklyn, so to say that blue pinstripes are in our blood is a gross understatement. Being a New Yorker, however, I root for NY against any other state and subway series are almost as fun to watch as NYY vs. BOS.
